Hebereke's Pair Pair Wars is a unreleased video game that was supposed to be released in 1996. It was originally stated to be released on the Neo Geo and Arcades, which at the time, Sunsoft's only games on the Neo Geo were Galaxy Fight and Waku Waku 7. For unknown reasons it was cancelled.
The gameplay isn't anything unique to the Hebereke series, but it's development is still interesting. The game was originally going to be a Shanghai Hebereke themed game, which was a series that Sunsoft developed back from the 1980s to today. How Shangai works is you have to match the tiles up. The player would have to complete the stage in a certain amount of time. It was originally going to be the first ever 3D Hebereke game. It also going to have new characters like an unnamed turnip character, which appears in the Hebereke comic strip, Muu Cat would've made a bigger role in the series, and another version of Hebe named Masked Hebe was made.
- Booboodori, Utsuzin, and Unyoon were not going to be present in the game.
- A MVS cartridge prototype of the game was originally made and was in possession, but it was damaged in the flood in 1998. Another prototype was allegedly found in 2002 in Canada, but it wasn't sure if that was true or not. The Arcade Flyer was founded in 2003.
- On the title screen for the game, Hebe's feet look red, but they should be yellow.
